Ms. Taylor wrote her first song at 17 and helped work her way through KSU playing original music and covers as solo artist in coffee shops. As songwriter, singer, guitarist and founding member of Progressive Wood, her band performed at campus parties, state fairs and festivals—she earning her bachelors degree in Family and Child Development (dual concentrations Social Services and Early Childhood Education). In addition to substitute teaching for large local ISD as music sub, math and reading tutor PREK-12, Ms. Taylor had a 20 year career as billing paralegal for large Dallas law firms; successfully files hers and others’ copyrights/trademarks with the Library of Congress.
