Welcome to TeachMeMsTaylor, where your musical journey may begin in the heart of Grand Prairie TX. As a dedicated solo music educator with over 20 years experience, Ms. Taylor offers personalized piano, guitar, singing, songwriting and music arranging/production lessons, tailored to your unique learning style. Her comprehensive approach includes music theory ensuring a well-rounded education.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, her passion for music and teaching will guide you towards achieving your artistic and creative goals a supportive and inspiring environment.
30+ years of professional musicianship
After 30+ years of professional musicianship spanning across two countries (US and Germany), publishing two CDs and digital downloads under Susan B. Taylor), Ms. Taylor retired from live performing in 2010 to teach privately. After eight years as music sub for a large ISD, she learned to work well with not only prek, kinder, middle school, and teens; but adults and elders who are either are beginners or want to refresh memories from earlier music lessons.

Lessons are recurring weekly and extremely important in the early stages when developing the nervous system, fine motor skills, auditory and touch sensory areas of the brain—all occur simultaneously. With repetitive movements, patterns, momentum, counting out loud, clapping rhythms; self-talk when correcting trouble spots; students quickly gain confidence and find success. It takes practice. No getting around this 🙂
Lessons are offered in Ms. Taylor’s home-studio or online.

• Pay as you go one lesson at a time via Zelle or cash.
• Reserve monthly in advance one payment first of every month.
